The store manager at the Hardee’s where I worked owned one of these, 30 years ago. I regret I never asked him for a ride.

I’d really like a 5spd/305 TPI car to daily. I think with an exhaust, shifter and gears it would be perfectly balanced for the back roads around here. Around 200rwhp and gobs of torque would be plenty entertaining. You’d be able to wring it out without hitting triple digit speeds instantly the way my LS1 car does. Slipping the clutch and stabbing the skinny pedal could step the rear end out on command. I’ve always wanted one in that pale yellow they came in. The blue you posted here is my other choice color.

Currently dailying a 305tbi auto with an exhaust, I wouldn’ t call it slow car fast, but it tracks flat, has great personality, and if you cruise slowish, pulls high 20s for highway mpg.

I saw that thing posted over the weekend! Very cool. Depending on the road, sometimes the slower car is the move. On open straights, sure, give me something fast, but on some curvy back roads? Give me something “slow” and engaging that I can drive like mad and floor for more than 3 seconds. Any big plans for it?

Kinda stereotypical for an 80s car these days, but getting a minor lift, some mud flaps and hella lights, skid plates underneath. The area of Quebec im in is full of wonderful hilly gravel roads and so thats definitely shaping its future
